NEW Downloadable Audiobooks. This service is available for Lied Pierce Public Library patrons. Click on the download audiobook link to browse the thousands of titles available. The titles range from children's fiction, adult fiction and even non-fiction titles. You may check out 4 titles for 7 days. You can either burn the title to a CD or download them to your ipod or other type of MP3 player. To check out an item you will need your library card number which is located on the back of your "little blue library card." If you cannot locate your card call the library and the staff would be happy to help. This is a free service offered in conjunction with other Nebraska libraries. |

 | The "Friends of the Library" will host a monthly bake sale on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. All proceeds help to purchase items for the library. The next bake sale will be October 15, 2008 from 1pm-8pm. No Bake Sale during the month of December nor February. |
 | There is a monthly Story Time on the Second Tuesday of every Month. They are as follows: October 14, November 18, December 9, January 13, February 10, March 10, April 14, and May 12. |

The Book Discussion Group meets every second Thursday of the month.

Discussion Group Selections
 | "Dani & Friend's Reading Korner" is every Monday after school from 3:45 until 4:30pm. All ages are welcome to attend this story time. (This runs from September through May; It does NOT meet during the summer months) |
 | Toddler Time is every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 9:45am. This story time is for children under the age of 4. (This does NOT meet during the months of June and July) |
